Soccer 1st Game!

On Saturday, September 7th, the boys had their first soccer game.  They both were so excited about playing in their first game!!  The one problem is that I put them both practicing at the same time, so that means they are also both playing games at the same time.  Will fix that for next year.  ;-)

Michael in there fighting for the ball.  As you can see he is holding onto his shorts - they were way too big!!  I didn't have him try it on before the game, oops.  That will be fixed for the next game.

AJ played goalie the first half of the game - he did a great job!!!  He was able to stop all the attempts on the goal!

AJ after the ball!  Both boys did awesome in their games!!!  The one problem was that both of the other teams were saying they were winners and that my boys' team were losers.  It really hurt both their feelings a lot.  Michael asked if I would sign him out of soccer.  But I had a long talk about sportsmanship and how that wasn't right and I am hoping in the next game the other teams will be better sports.
