Michael and I, with Dad behind us, battling the evil Zurg. By this time we all were getting pretty good at shooting him. :-)
AJ and Grandma fighting the evil Zurg!
Wall-E and Eva - too cute!!
The boys rode on the Orbitron and both said it was boring, it just goes around. This was after all the exciting roller coasters, etc. :-) I had to agree with them.
The boys really loved the "snow characters" that were out and they asked if it was real snow. We told them no because it would melt. :-)
Lunch at a pizza place, we talked Michael out of more nuggets.
We had some entertainment for lunch also!
After that we headed over for the Indiana Jones ride. This and Space Mountain were the only ones Michael was too short for. He was really upset about it. But we talked him through it. I was a little disappointed with it only because it is way different than I thought it was going to be. It was a roller coaster ride, not quite what Disneyland California has. It was a good roller coaster ride though. And we didn't even have to wait, we walked right onto the ride, twice!!!
Next we decided to go and explore some caves.
Skull Rock with all the treasure behind them.
Fun on the bouncy bridge!!!
We checked out the "pirate" ship near the caves.
Arrrrggghhh me matey!!!
My two Captain hooks!!!
Looking out through Skull Rock!!!
I know we had some piracy in the family - Grandpa and his first mate Michael!
Photo time with Mickey!!! The boys were really excited to meet him!!! The best part for them, while we were waiting in line, they were able to watch old Mickey cartoons!! They didn't want to leave, it was the first TV they had in almost a week. It was pretty funny!
We went through the maze and found the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland!!
And who cannot like the Cheshire cat!!!
The boys looking in wonder at the bridge of cards and us heading into the Queens castle!
Tea Party anyone?
Okay, so we had to do it once. I told them only once, but we did it, we went on It's a Small World. One nice thing, it was Christmas so they had Christmas carols going on!!! Made it much more bearable.
The boys getting some love from Mickey!!!
Mickey and us - so much fun!!!
We saw Minnie and had to say hello!!!!
Neither boy wanted to go on the Tower of Terror on Monday, but both said they would try it. So we did, it was an old Twilight video. It was pretty fun. Michael said he had enough after once, but it was AJ's favorite ride and he asked Grandma to go on it lots with him while I went on Rockin' Roller Coaster with Michael.
With Goofy in front of the Tower of Terror!!! So after this we headed for dinner. We were meeting our friends at Mickey's café. It was such a fun place to eat dinner. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was awesome!!!
We had all sorts of characters come to our table and say hi!! Our old friend Pluto!!
We also were able to have dinner with our good friend Lynnie and her family!!!
And one of our favorite characters - Goofy!! It was such a great way to end the evening and great company for Thanksgiving dinner. Not the normal dinner of turkey, but one we will remember always!! We had a record at Disneyland, we were there for 13 hours. I think we were all ready to head back and get some rest. Even at the late hour the boys still wanted to play games but I told them we all needed some rest for the next day!
