Garmisch

So on Friday March 13th, David and I headed to Garmisch, alone.  Yes I did say that, it was just the two of us.  Our wonderful friend Sarah kept the kiddos for us for the weekend.  We were excited to have a couple of days for just the two of us.  We headed out for our 5 hour drive.  It was very peaceful.  Then we walked around the town a little trying to figure out where we wanted to have some lunch.  It was nice that we weren't looking for a McDonald's.  :-)  After that we headed to check in to the hotel.

We had some time before we headed to bunco so we decided to take a walk.  We headed out from Edelweiss on foot to see where it took us!!!

The path we took.  I totally forgot that there would be snow here.  The wind was a bit chilly and I probably should have brought a few more layers, but we made it and had a wonderful time!!!

That night we went to play bunco with some of the other people there for the ball.  David didn't realize that I saw his pouty lip when he was taking the picture so I copied him.  We had a good laugh about it!!

We had a great time playing bunco!!!  We didn't win anything, but were able to meet a lot of people and had a lot of laughs.  The only bad part was that at the end of the night I couldn't talk.  David didn't think it was that bad.  ;-)  But even with that we had a wonderful night with lots of laughs!!!
