Mother's Day

The school had a wonderful mother's day lunch that I was able to attend.  I attended both lunches for the boys.

Michael's lunch was first.  He was so excited that I was able to come and have lunch with him!!!

We have to have our silly selfie!!!  I love Michael!

AJ being on student council, he helped plan the lunch.  He also sang in front of the whole school which I was so very, very proud of him!!!!!

Next was lunch with AJ!!!  He is such a handsome young man!!!  We had a great lunch of subway!  It was such a great lunch time!!!

Then on actual Mother's day, the boys let me sleep in which was all I wanted for Mother's day!

After my workout in the morning, the boys surprised me with presents!

David bought me a new workout shirt that I love!!!!

Then I got a new backpack for traveling, which you know I LOVE to do!!!!  After I took my shower we decided to head over and do some bowling.  They beat me the first game, but I came back in the second!!!

That night I asked David for one of my favorite dinners - ribs!!!  He did a wonderful job and made his potato salad!!!  It was a wonderful day and I fully enjoyed my time with my three boys!!!!!  They did a great job of making me feel special!

Baseball Saturday!

On Saturday May 7th, we had some more great baseball games!!!  AJ's game was first.

AJ making a great throw during the game!!

AJ is doing a fantastic job hitting as well!!!!

He hit another two RBIs in and made it to base!!  This is his serious game face!

This is his happy end of the game, winning face!!!  Love that smile!!

Michael's turn to play.  He is one of the best hitters on his team and can smash that ball!

He is patiently waiting for another of his teammates to hit the ball.

Another big hit by Michael!!!  The one thing that is different from AJ's game is that they all get to bat no matter what.  AJ, might get to bat once, maybe twice a game.

Michael is very stubborn sometimes, he said he didn't want to wear his hat, yet he had a hard time seeing because of the sun.  It was a great day for baseball!!!!

Zoo field trip

Michael's class had a zoo field trip on May 3rd, so I took the day off to be a chaperone for his class.

Mrs. Langston had so many volunteers that I only had two children to look after at the zoo.  The one bad part of the zoo, is that it was raining!!  Michael doesn't like his rain coat so he didn't have a hood.

Thankfully at this zoo they had a few indoor areas.  So we decided to check those out first.  This part is showing the different skulls of apes and humans.

I really do love turtles!!!  These ones are huge!!!

We decided to walk around with another parent and students, these kids are too goofy!!!

We headed next to the gorillas, another indoor area.  :-)  This one came over and just plopped down!  It was hilarious!

Michael was playing with this one.  He will mimic you sometimes.  This day, if the boys mimicked him, he would clap for them!  It was great!!!

This one was pretty vocal and he carried those boots around the whole time.  He must really love those boots!

This is the one we call Big Daddy!  He is the biggest one there.  Look at the look he was giving me!  I wouldn't want to meet him in the jungle.

We decided since it was dry, the gorilla area was a great place for lunch!

Even the kangaroos were taking cover from the rain!

The boys found the ponys.

The rain finally stopped and this little guy came out!  He looks very regal!

Michael was really enjoying petting the horses.  He called himself a horse whisperer because the horses always came when he called.

The boys running across the suspension bridge!

And then most of the class joined in on the fun!

The giraffes were out since the rain had stopped.  They are such beautiful creatures!!!

I thought these meerkats were so cute!!

Heading up the rope bridge.

Michael told me I had to come up and see a peacock.  Then I found out he was joking.  He is so funny.  He decided to check out the giraffes.

The boys decided to play some tag while we were there!

The camels decided that even though it stopped raining, they decided to stay under cover.

This little one was playing soccer.  He was pretty good at it!

We found the petting area of the zoo and Michael was trying to hide from the goats.

Michael and Christopher decided they wanted to feed the goats.

Michael was backing up because the goats kept coming at him, he couldn't back up fast enough!

Michael loves holding the baby goats!!!!

Michael was holding the baby goat and I was trying to feed it, and the one that we called greedy kept trying to get the food.

The kids were playing tag and went through the bushes and this one came straight to the window looking for what was making the noise.

Michael bought a little monkey and pretended that they were hand cuffs.

The crew with some ice cream and monkeys.  It was a great day!!  The rain went away until we arrived back on the bus, which helped make for such a great day!

Baseball and karate

On Saturday, April 30th, the boys had a really busy day.  We started out the day with baseball games.  AJ had one in Baumholder and Michael had one in Vogeleweh.  We had to split up because the times and how long it takes to get to Baumholder.

David went with AJ to Baumholder.  AJ warming up before the game!

AJ up to bat.  He hit a great ball and had two RBIs!!!

AJ getting ready to go home!!

Defense time!!  He is ready to catch a ball!!

AJ and Michael in their uniforms!  They look great!!!

Michael playing first base and he was able to get a few people out!

Michael's turn up to bat.  He hit every time and made it to base!!!

Michael playing 3rd base, trying to get the ball to get the runner out.

Michael giving the other team high fives!

He cracks me up!!  I love his smile!!!

Next we headed over to Pulaski park for month of the military child celebration.  The boys were doing a demo for it.  Michael and AJ are both on the sword team.  AJ hadn't arrived yet, he had a little longer drive then us.

This is the demo team that was there at the time.

We had a little time before the demo so the boys wanted to check out what else they had there.  AJ fishing for red cross items.

Michael's turn, he almost flung it out and hit someone.

They had everybody come out for this, including the fire fighter and the police.

The boys doing their demo!!!

They did such a great job!

Michael with some storm troopers and a jabawalkie.

Michael checking out one of the weapons that security police.

The boys were very excited about the different weapons that they brought.

Michael trying to cock a M2,.50 cal.  I think that he really liked this one.

Michael and AJ checking out a M60

AJ's turn on the M2,50 cal.  He looks a little too comfortable for my liking.

Michael hanging out in the police car.  He was even allowed to talk on the loud speaker!!!

AJ's turn to talk on the loud speaker!!  He was cracking me up!

The boys headed towards bow and arrows next!  AJ actually hit the target!

Michael doing a great job with it!!  They actually use these for bow and arrow for tag.  The middle schoolers on up could play.

AJ and Michael working on their balance.

I decided to try it as well, and I didn't do too good at it.

David even wanted to take a turn as well!  He found it was harder then it looked as well!!!

After that we headed to downtown K-town and decided to have some celebratory ice cream for such a great day!!!!
