So after talking it over with David, we decided that the boys, and us, needed a day of nothing. So we told the boys they could decide on what they wanted to do for the day. They started their day out with sleeping in and then watching some movies.
After that it was time for the pool!!! We bought a set of four paddles and balls and we had a blast with those in the pool!
Daddy joined us, started in the shade relaxing, but ended up getting in the pool as well!! After that was lunch time and some games.
Then back down to the pool for more swimming!! They had to let their sunscreen sit for a little bit before they could go in, so they played with Daddy for a little bit to let it dry.
There was a really nice German family who had a little boy that LOVED throwing the balls into the big pool and having the boys go get them. The boys had a blast with that!!! It kept them busy for quite awhile.
Here they are running from me because I said I was going to pull their tongues because they kept sticking it out at me. They were hilarious!!!
One last jump before we head up for dinner and games. I have to give it to the boys, it was a nice break to just sit and relax and not have to get in the car. I am glad that they thought of it!!! We packed up most of the van that night because the next day we were heading off to another part of Italy.
