Family Outing

One of AJ's scouting requirements was to have a family meeting and for us to plan a family outing.  We went through many different ideas, but the one that everybody agreed upon was a bike ride.  So on December 26th we headed out.

And we are off.  It was a beautiful day for a ride, a little chill in the air, but gloves helped take the chill off.

Thankfully we didn't have to travel far before we were able to go off road.  The boys just took off!!!

David always ever watchful and making sure he can see the whole family and that they are safe!  I was taking this while riding behind my head.  Not too bad if I don't say so myself.  :-)

The boys wanted a little break, so we found a nice beach to take a breather.

We went down quite a hill and so on the way back it was all uphill.  Michael doesn't have gears. So Daddy and Michael walked up the big hill.

The same bench on the way back taking a little break.  We also were waiting for a few people that were walking and we didn't want to pass them on the same trail.

We made a pit stop back at the house to grab some Nerf guns.

Then we headed to the park in our little town.  The boys working on getting dizzy.

AJ thinking that he can get Daddy while he is reloading.  It didn't work out so well.  :-)  I was trying to help the boys by shooting David and reloading for them.  But I was shot quite a few times while trying to help.

AJ thought that being up in a tree it would be better.

He then found out that he was a sitting duck and Daddy just kept shooting him!!!

Michael decided to forget the guns and get a big stick!!!  We had a wonderful day and lots of fun and fresh air!!!  It is nice that the weather was mild at this time.
