What a weekend!!! It was sooooo fantastic!!!! We took a trip up to Garmish, Germany with two other families. We rented a house and had such a great time!!! It was so great to have a house to be in and we were right across from Edelweiss so we were able to walk over and use the park there to run some energy out of the kids. The weather was awesome also!! We had beautiful sunshine!! It was cold, but beautiful! The alps were right outside our balcony, the view was breathtaking!! I woke up every morning and looked outside and was amazed at God's beauty and that we were really there! There wasn't much snow and AJ was a little disappointed about not being able to go skiing or snowboarding, but I told him that we would go skiing sometime and not to worry. Of course he corrected me again and said snowboarding! It would be really cool to go skiing on the Alps that is for sure!!! We cram-packed our weekend of course and I will post on all the things we did and pictures hopefully tomorrow, maybe not everything tomorrow, but man there was amazing scenery! We did take it easy in the evenings, did crock pot dinners and just sat around and talked and laughed. We didn't have a normal Thanksgiving dinner, but that didn't matter at all! We had yummy pumpkin soup and turkey sandwiches. For desert pumpkin pie and apple pie! It was delicious and with friends which is what matters the most! One of the families that we went with also had to small boys, one age 6 and one age 3, so our boys were very excited to have somebody to play with and have a sleepover!! They all were well behaved, at least most of the time!!! We didn't get back home until 8 pm tonight because we had to fit in a couple of castles today on the way home!! You know me, it was right down the road, so we had to stop! One of them was the castle that Disney modeled their castle after, man it was beautiful!!! Well I have to get my pictures downloaded and sorted through, I think I took more than 600 pictures this weekend! You have to LOVE digital photos!!! Here is a couple from out trip and will post more soon!
