Michael went to a bowling birthday party and had a great time!!!!
On Friday my friend and I took the kids to an indoor play area. If you look closely above the yellow sign there is a cannon type things that shoots balls out fast. AJ loved this!!
Here are the boys walking over the rope bridge and on the other side are a bunch of trampolines that they were doing tricks and flips on!!
This is the indoor park that was there also along with a couple of big slides attached to the structure above with the trampolines and shooting cannon.
So this thing was about 20 feet high and I am not sure if you can tell, but the way up it has crisscrossed black webbing with big openings. There is a bag at the bottom, but not a very thick one. Michael started up it and then came back down the first time. But then went up again with AJ and they both made it all the way to the top.

That is Michael climbing up in there, you can see the crisscross black webbing a little better in this one.
This was a gigantic balloon for lack of better work, it was difficult to get to the top, but both Michael and AJ were able to do it.
One of my favorites - the hamster wheel - get them nice and tired out.
You can barely see them through the net, but that is Michael and AJ at the top
This is yet another area in there that has giant Legos. You can't see it but there is a Foosball table to the left of that plus more toys in the background. Michael is going down yet another slide in there. If you wanted to pay more euros you could do rides and go karts (very small track) there is mini golf in the summer, and a small ropes course. It was truly amazing how many things they fit in there. It was fun, too bad they don't have a years pass to it. It costs even for the parents to go in there.
I went in to help another mom in Michael's class do a project with the kids. This is their snack time. They sit at tables and eat family style and they can't eat until everybody is sitting down and they sing the cutest snack song!!!
Michael wanted to show me his funny face!
The project was to make your initials our of gingerbread cookie dough. So it was educational for them to know their initials and then find the letters. Then the school baked them. As you see above, cookies aren't cookies without frosting!! We did four colors and the kids had a wonderful time frosting and eating them!!! I really do enjoy volunteering in the boys' classes.
Today AJ had a "go see it" for scouts. We went to Frijoles restaurant on post and they were able to get a tour through the back and everything! Each one was able to "wash dishes" with the cool hose, walk in the fridge and freezer (which the boys thought that was really cool to be able to walk into a fridge and freezer) and they were able to make their own lunch and dessert.
Here they had to buddy up so they could take turns making their lunches
The start of their tacos. Actually the end of Michael's he only wanted the chicken and nothing else.
AJ working on his toppings for his taco
Gotta have the sour cream!!!
Here they were making sopapillas. It is a sweet bread that you roll really flat and then you fry it for one minute and then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. AJ really liked his!!!
Michael also was able to make one! He is saving his for Daddy he said when it was cooked. He is such a good sharer! Tonight was a lazy afternoon. Tomorrow after church we are headed down to Wiesbaden to spend the night with a friend and explore the town. I am excited to get down there. I heard it is beautiful! I just hope the rain goes away so we can do exploring without it for the day!!!
