We had a very busy Saturday November 5th. Everybody decided it was a great day to have everything. LOL
We started out the morning with Michael playing his last flag football game. He did a fabulous job!! We headed to the bowling alley for his after season party.
Michael was number 3 on the team and he had a great season!! He really enjoyed himself this year and had a great coach to help him along!
The boys enjoying their lunch and Michael loved his trophy and time with the family and team!
After lunch we headed to Landsthul for AJ and Michael to take their black belt testing in Karate Tech.
The boys had to start with showing all seven of their katas.
Since I am a 2nd degree black belt and Professor Jorge was there, I was able to test my own boys.
They had to start with 150 self defense.
Next was knife defense.
After that some gun defense, who said my son can point a gun at me. LOL
My turn to point it at him!!! ;-)

They passed all of their katas, defenses, and all that was left was to answer questions.
AJ made it up first, but just barley. Here he is becoming Sensei AJ!! We are both so proud of him and all his hard work!! It took 3 years, but he finally earned his black belt!
Michael's turn to get his black belt!! Again so proud of Michael for all his hard work and dedication! It took 3 years, but he also earned his black belt!!!

The three karate tech black belts in the family!!! Love my boys and so glad that we were able to take this journey together!
The boys and Master Jay!!! So happy to have him in our lives!! With all the patience and teaching he gave this family, we really appreciate everything he did!
Professor Jorge also did so much for the boys and I!!! Without him, Karate Tech would never have been founded, and we would never have had the opportunity to learn!

Since we weren't able to celebrate AJ's birthday on his birthday, we decided to celebrate tonight! So off we went to a restaurant of his choice to enjoy dinner and also celebrate two new Senseis!
Next we headed back to our house for birthday presents.
And of course cake!! Well not really cake, AJ wanted cookie dough for his birthday so I made a "cake" our of raw cookie dough!!! It was delicious!!
We received Grandma and Grandpa's package after Michael's birthday, so he was able to open up some of his presents as well!
I LOVE AJ's expression - he saw what Grandma and Grandpa gave him and was very excited!!!
Michael had to come over for a better look!!!
Both boys were very excited to try their new Nerf guns!!!! We had a wonderful day, so many great things happened and we were pretty exhausted by the end, but happy!!!
