Vacation Bible School

One of my old high school buddies that still lives in the area posted about a VBS in East Wenatchee.  Since we were in the states we missed all of them that happened in Germany.  So I thought it might be fun for the boys.  It was called High Power Soccer, so a little bit of soccer along with learning about the Bible, all good stuff!

 

 

They broke up by ages and each age had a different color shirt.  Michael was in the blue group.  He was the oldest in it and was getting a little bored when they played the soccer game.  So one day when my mom went to pick them up she was a little early and was able to get Michael playing in with the big boys, which he LOVED!!!

 

AJ over playing soccer.  He was really getting in there and playing well!!!  During the week they were able to earn Awana bucks by memorizing verses, answering questions, etc.  They boys were excited about that because they were going to be able to spend them at the end of the week.

 

Dad put the front lift on his tractor and of course the boys had to get a ride on it.

 

Then Grandpa said he was going to drop the boys in the pool and started to take them over there, but he didn't really.  :-)

 

The boys sharing with the other kids what they bought with their Awana bucks!!!  Both boys were so awesome, they both bought me something with the money they earned.  They are such sweet boys with good hearts!!!

 

They had a BBQ the last day and it was really nice sitting on the grass and just relaxing!

 

One of the things the boys bought were fake snakes.  They know how much Grandpa dislikes snakes, so they decided to ambush him with them from both sides!!

 

They were getting him really good and he was fighting back though.  It was pretty funny!!!!  It was a good week!
