Lanzorote - Day 2

On Monday morning, Michael woke up with a 103 degree fever.  He didn't want to move at all.  So he and I settled in the hotel room and AJ said he wanted to go swimming, so David and AJ headed down to the pool.

AJ's underwater selfie!!!  He has such a great smile!!!

David and AJ enjoying their time in the pool and the beautiful sunshine!!!

Of course you need an underwater selfie!!!!

AJ's scowling at Daddy.  LOL

They had activities for all ages, including adults.  David decided he wanted to join in on a little water polo.

He had a great time playing!!!  He made quite a few scores!

After an long afternoon of swimming, AJ came back to the room and watched some tv with his brother.

Michael said he was feeling a little better, with some help from Tylenol and Ibuprofen, so he wanted to go play some pool.  The boys wanted to slide down the stairs!

They had a pool table there and the boys wanted to play.  AJ setting up for his shot!

Michael's turn to shoot one in!

While the boys played pool, David and I played some ping pong!  Of course I won all the games, thanks to my granddaddy and parent's having a ping pong table when I was growing up.  :-)

Michael and David are such goof balls!!!

Michael and AJ taking a turn at ping pong.

We had a little time before dinner and the show so we headed back up to our room.

The boys didn't seem to like walking down the stairs, the only like sliding.  :-)

AJ running a head to get us a table.

The boys wanted to mess with Daddy and put a lemon and straw into his beer.  :-)

David's look when he saw his drink.

David enjoying some ice cream after dinner!

David and I waiting for the show to begin!

The boys took the camera and took pictures of each other!

I have such handsome boys!!!

The show started, it was a mix of a lot of different things.  Here they were playing recycled instruments.

The guy on the drums was one of my favorites!!  He really got into all of his characters throughout the week and had some great facial expressions!!!

Finishing off with a fun dance routine!

The shows didn't start till nine, so it was pretty late when we headed home.  I love all the lights and palm trees.  It was a good day, even though Michael wasn't feeling well, we were able to work it.

Spring Break - Lanzorote, Grand Canary - Day 1

So we had a really, really, really early flight.  We had to be up at 1:45 am to catch a cab for our flight.

Here we are at the airport waiting for our flight.  After we checked in and dropped our luggage, we headed over to security.  You have to love Germany, the security area wasn't even open yet.  So we had to wait for a little while before heading here.

As you can see the boys were really tired, LOL.  You can see Michael's head underneath AJ's arm.

We finally arrived in Lanzorote!!!  They have many of these all over the island.

AJ and Michael on our bus heading to our hotel!

David starting his vacation, vacation as he calls it.  He wanted a vacation where we didn't have to do anything.  :-)

AJ wanted to  hang out in the room and Michael wanted to head for the pool.  So off Michael and I went.

Michael going down the slide and finding out that the water in this pool was a little cold.  LOL

He is very happy to be in the pool!!!

Michael showing off his one handed handstand!

Aren't we too cute?!?!

Michael asked me to take some selfies and wanted to make different things behind my head, he had me cracking up!!!!  LOL

Underwater selfie!!!!

David and AJ decided to join us pool side and David continuing to enjoy his vacation, vacation!

Look at those hops on the boys!!!

David cracking me up when he was heading into the pool.

Boys playing a little football.

Michael was the only one that couldn't touch, so he took a little break on David's back!

AJ looking good on his throwing!!!

Michael said he was getting a little cold, so he decided to wrap up and get a little warmer.

Michael and Daddy relaxing, watching a little tv.

The view from our hotel room - it was so peaceful!

The pool closes at 7 pm and it looks so nice and calm.

AJ and Michael at dinner.

They had shows every night and the boys wanted to check them out.  There was special seating for the kids up front!

The first night was a magician.

He was actually a pretty good magician, his slight of hand was great and had good audience participation!

He put himself up on two chairs and then balanced on one chair.  It was a great first day and since we arrived at 10 am at the hotel we were able to enjoy the whole day there!!!
