Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Thursday the boys and I had a busy day.  I volunteered in the morning with AJ's class and then I zoomed and picked up Michael.  Then Michael and I volunteered in AJ's class.  They were doing a big art project that they needed another parent to help.  All the kids like it when Michael comes into the class.  I am always asked where he is if I am there and he is not.  It is kind of cute.  AJ also loves to have Michael in his classroom!  So after the art project was snack and Michael just fit right into the room.  AJ really wanted him to stay so he asked his art teacher if Michael could stay during art.  So I stayed too and helped her in the classroom.  Then back to his classroom and they had free choice until they celebrated one of the boys birthdays in AJ's class.  Michael was excited to be able to spend the day with AJ.  Then we were off to a tree lighting ceremony for David's unit.  It was COLD!!!  The boys weren't very excited until Santa came and then they were glad they came!  Of course once Michael saw Santa and got his goodies he was ready to go home.  So we rushed home because AJ also had scouts that night.  They just barely made it in time to help finish building their cub-anapolis car.

Don't they look excited to be there - all three of them

The commander said he couldn't get the switch to on and needed all of the kids help to do it, well he got a mob and this mob ended up falling down and AJ's hat button got stuck in a little girl's hair.  Luckily she was fine and AJ cushioned her fall to the ground.

The boys looking at Santa and singing songs with him

Michael told Santa that he wanted a real horse.  Santa told him if he was really good he might get one.  Thanks Santa!

AJ with Santa - luckily he asked for much easier things to get

My happy boys with their treats and a snowman!
