Dinosaur Park time

On  Saturday May 9th we decided to head to the Dinosaur Park in Kaiserslautern.  Unfortunately we didn't know a HUGE graduation was going on so we had to head to the top.  The boys and I have never been to the top before so it was very cool to see.

The boys love to bring their scooters, but up here they had a little rough going through the grass but they made it!!!

They found a place where they could excavate dinosaurs - it is much bigger than the one in Prague.

They were looking and catching tadpoles in this pond.  I told them we could not keep any of them, but we could come back later to look at the frogs.

A view from the top, looking down at the dinosaur park.

This is a tower that is along the path.  It is very interesting where you find these towers all over the place and sometimes very hidden.  I have never noticed this one before.

AJ and Michael looking at the fish and baby ducks.

Aren't the baby ducks cute?!?  They have grown a bit from what Maria said, but they are still small.

The flowers were really blooming this year and are so pretty!!!!

I hadn't seen this part before, but I like the little dinosaurs and lizards along the stream!

This is one of the bigger group of flowers.  They change up their design throughout the summer.

And of course, what visit to the Dinosaur Park would be complete without ice cream?!?

Michael just relaxing, enjoying his ice cream - gotta love it!!!

Ice cream done, now to play in the sand.  It was nice also for them to be in the shade for a little while.

Michael my monkey, always finding things to climb on.  At least this one you were supposed to.  :-)  We had a great time as always at the park and such gorgeous weather for it!!!
