Legoland - the last time

So I asked the boys what they would like to do before we headed back school.  They both said they wanted to go to Lego land again.  I told them this would be the last time we would go Lego land because there are many other places we still need to visit.  So we woke up early and thankfully it only took a little over three hours to get there this time.

AJ had been begging me to go into the Albert Einstein building every time we went and we always saved it for last and missed it.  So this time we went in there first.  They had different Lego creations you had to put together and then see if they worked.

So while AJ was putting his Lego creation together, Michael and I went on a couple of rides.

AJ choose a helicopter for his first one.  He did a great job and it worked!!!!!

The boys going on the roller coaster ride by themselves!!  They have gotten so big!!

They decided they wanted to do the spinning one and try and spin as much as they could.  We had a blast!!!

Then we were right in time for another 4D movie - this one was ninjago.

Off on the pirate ship ride.  They weren't as thrilled about this one.  Not exciting enough.  :-)

They wanted to go on the ship where you spray people and other people spray you.  I almost went on the boat with them, but then I saw the people getting off and they were SOAKED!!  It wasn't a warm day so I decided to stay off and stay dry.

So when they left, everybody had clothing on, when they came down there were three people without shirts.  Germany for you.

The boys were all smiles!!!  They do love this ride, except they said they didn't get wet enough.

Heading in to shoot some bad guys!

Eating lunch at our favorite place near the ninjago ride.  We were all pretty hungry by then.

This is one of the boys favorite rides there - it jerks you so much, that it hurts sometimes.

Another ride that the boys love, Michael is almost tall enough to get the handles on the wings.

Round and round they go, where they stop, nobody knows!!!!

The boys really like the new police station ride - we spent a lot more time in there this time walking around.

Michael being silly!

There are "robbers" that you have to find through out the mirror maze.

The boys wanted to watch the show.  We were hitting things at the right time.  These guys were pretty amazing.  We had some good popcorn and great entertainment.

This guy got up to 5 bowls on his foot and he was able to get them onto his head.

Michael giving it his all.

Michael and AJ working as a team!!!  I love seeing this!!!

My monkeys climbing and jumping.  They love it!!!

AJ wanted to go back to Albert Einstein and build another model.  This one you could pull back and it would go forward.

Michael wanted to try and build something as well.

He decided to build a windmill.  He did a great job all by himself!!!!

He went and hooked it up to a battery and he built it right and it worked!!!  We had a really fantastic day and stayed till closing!!  The only problem we had was that I was tired and we had a three hour drive home.  Well that is what I hoped, and then it turned into a five hour drive home.  We stood still forever and didn't make it home until 1 a.m.  Boy was I glad when we pulled up to the house and I could crawl into bed!  Thankfully I could sleep in the next morning, just not long enough.
