Lanzarote - Day 5

On April 14th, David and I decided that it might be fun to go on a submarine.  When were hoping that Michael would be feeling better and it wasn't a high energy tour.

We had a few minutes before our bus was going to pick us up, so we decided to play a little ping pong.  The boys are getting better!

It was a little bit of a bus ride and the bus driver was awful, but we finally made it.  On the walk over we saw all these fish hanging around the marina.

My husband putting up with me and the camera!!  I love him soooo much!!!!  They had to do a safety video since we were going to be 300 feet down.

Then off to the submarine!!  AJ heading down the hatch!!!!

My boys down in the submarine!!!  They both wore red shirts because we were told that when we were that far down, the red color goes away.

Michael decided to sit with David and AJ with me!!  We were ready to go!!!!

While we were still at dock some fish were swimming around the submarine.

They had a camera on top of the submarine so we were able too watch it go down.

As you can see AJ's shirt is not really red anymore.

There were some huge schools of fish down there swimming around.

The closer they were the better pictures we were able to get!

This fish was waving hello to us!

There were a couple of ship wrecks on our tour!!

AJ said this was so cool to see his first shipwreck!!!

When we were about half way through our tour, a diver came by.

Then even more fish came around - I think it might have been the food that he dropped.  ;-)

This sting ray has been hanging around for over 5 years.

They said that she doesn't always come out when the submarine is there, but we were lucky and she decided to visit.

Here is the second ship wreck that we saw.  One was over a 100 years old!

Michael getting off our submarine.  It was a great trip!!  Everybody had fun and thought it was cool to go on one!

We headed home and Michael was past done.  He and I stayed in the hotel room while AJ and David headed down to the pool.  AJ ended up playing water polo with some of the other kids in the pool.

AJ was a really good goalie!!

I headed down to the pool to catch a few rays!!  David and I hanging out!

David decided to head for the cold pool and jump in!

AJ headed over to the cold pool to join his new friends in swimming.

Michael trying to be a trooper and come to dinner.

We headed over to see the show.  The family together!!!

Michael was trying really hard to make it to the show, but he just didn't feel good, the poor guy.  David said he would take him back to the room.

AJ and I hung out and watched the show.  This nights show was Grease.

They did a great job in recreating Grease on a very small scale!  They had a few good people playing the rolls.  It was a good day and I was really hoping that Michael would feel better tomorrow.
