Medieval Market

On Sunday we went to the Gartenschau (aka the dinosaur park) because they were having a medieval market there.  I couldn't believe how many people were there!  We have been to this park before, but never with this many people.  I told the boys they couldn't go off running without us.  It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny!!!!

Here were a couple of the vendors dressed up selling their wares.

AJ and Michael checking out the chickens and roosters, not sure why they were there but kind of fun.

The people that have booths there actually sleep in the park and cook their food like they did back in medieval times.  It was cool to see that, they haven't had people staying at the other ones that we have visited.

The boys like this dinosaur, they really are huge and there are a ton of them there!

You can see the musicians on the left and the ladies dancing, amazing they way they can move their hips.

It was such a nice, warm day that the boys begged us to play in the water and of course as you can see I decided that boys could play.  Next time they are going to wear their swimsuits and sandals.

The boys were so cute while they were playing together - water and sticks and rocks what more could you want?

David trying to stay out of the sun while the boys played in the water.

aren't we cute?!?

Michael wanted to wear David's hat and had to have it crooked.

Here was the fortune teller, this was the first time I saw anybody in there, not sure if she got a lot of business or not.

AJ decided he wanted the best of both worlds, chocolate and pretzel - that thing was huge!!!

This is the scene that you see when you first walk into the dinosaur park.  The cool thing is, they change the flowers quite often.  I am excited to see how it changes over the season.
