Trunk or Treat

So there was no rest for the weary.  I was making Mom and Dad jump in with both feet, jet lag and all!!!  On Wednesday, my Mom went to school with me to help volunteer in Michael's class.

We were painting super hero capes.  They were made out of old adult t-shirts and it was a really great idea!!  So easy too!!  Dad decided to stay home because I already told him he had to come to school on Thursday!  :-)  I can't let Mom have all the fun!!  Then after school we had a quick homework, dinner and headed out for trunk or treating with David's unit.  The boys were soooooo excited to finally get to wear their costumes!!!

Michael ready to take on the bad guys in his "skull lord ninja" outfit.  And yes he corrected many people on exactly what he was!!!

The boys with their grandparents!!  I can't tell you how much fun it is to have them here!!!  Just to hear all the laughs and giggles from the boys and them saying Grandma, Grandpa I have to show you this, come look.  It is music to my ears!!!

Then the boys turn - attacking Grandma and Grandpa!

On the way to trunk or treat Michael kept asking if we were there yet.  It was only a 15 minute drive, but to him it must have felt like forever!!  Here they are getting chem lights.  They put them in their pumpkins and it looked pretty neat!

Daddy made it over from work to watch the boys get way too much candy!

Starting their rounds getting candy!

This car has won best truck two years in a row.  It is an actual hearse and they do a really good job!  The boys ended up going around three times, the master of ceremony said they could.  They had their pumpkins filled almost twice and we haven't even gotten to Halloween yet.  They had a great time and were very excited to fill up their candy bowls again!!  Mom and Dad were able to meet some of the people that David works with and a few of Albert's classmates that were there also.
