German Adventures of David, Tammy, AJ and Michael: Fall Fesitval and Trunk or Treating

So I am finally getting back to the blog, it has been a busy couple of days. On Tuesday AJ's class and the rest of the first graders had a fall festival. They played a bunch of fun games in the morning and then in the afternoon they had a big party which the siblings were invited to come along with the parents! I was there early to help set up and Michael was a BIG helper!! He was having so much fun helping set up and did such a great job!! He said he had to have a yellow badge (a visitors pass) to go to the party! It was really cute! He is a big hit in AJ's class, he came to lunch quite a bit at the beginning of the year and they are always asking me where my other son is when I come in to help! AJ was very sweet and stayed with Michael the whole time because I was helping throughout. They can be soooo cute sometimes!! Then we ran to the dentist after that. A very nice lady who speaks English, German and Spanish! It was kind of cool that I could understand a little of all three languages! But the kids seemed to like her and so did I!! Then off to Panzer Kaserne to do some trunk or treating!! David's unit put it on and there were some great trunks that were decorated!!! We went around the trunks and the boys got sooooo much candy!!! Once we were done they wanted to help Daddy pass out candy! Michael started handing out handfuls of candy, there were some very happy kids! They had a bunch of sweets and a costume contest. There was a really cute Yoda who looked to be about 2, he won his category! After that there was still so much candy left in the trunks that the boys wanted to go around again and I said why not. So off we went and now we really had a lot of candy!!! This is even before Halloween trick or treating. They will be sugared up for quite awhile!! We were driving home and I told the boys that it was straight to bed when we got home because there was school tomorrow, Michael said but Mommy we haven't had dessert yet. This was with skittles in his mouth!! They really crack me up!!!!
