Belgium

It has been another busy week. Sorry I have been absent from the blog for so long. Over the last four day weekend we decided to take a trip to see some great friends in Belgium! We drove over on Friday and it was a great evening! David tried some Belgium beer and I tried some Belgium wine and both were very yummy!!! On Saturday we headed to Brussels - that post will have to come tomorrow but I wanted to get a few photos up of our weekend. We were supposed to go to another city on Sunday but the weather changed our minds on that since all the road conditions were red we decided to stay in and enjoy the snow!! We were also supposed to head home on Sunday but the roads were way to bad so we were able to enjoy another wonderful evening with our friends!!! The snow wasn't real good for packing  and therefore not great for a snow ball fight, but we managed!! We slid down the hill and had a wonderful time!!! Then inside for some hot chocolate and some Belgium chocolate that we purchased the day before. And let me tell you, Belgium chocolate is good!!!!

Steve got Michael with snow down his coat and in his face, so Michael was a little upset. To help boost him back up I helped the kids get back at Steve and we did a "sneak" attack on him after filling up the bags with snow. Michael was much happier!!

Michael before I told him about the plan to get Mr. Steve back!! He is too precious!! We had such a great time and can't wait to go back!!! Coming soon Brussels and some great history lessons on many topics including beer! LOL!
