There was a little bit of a mix up on an apartment that we were supposed to have for Verdun, France. But in the end it actually worked out for the best and we were able to get a few things done those couple of days. Fortunately the apartment in the Black Forest was still a go. We started driving on Sunday July 3rd and had a beautiful drive with very little traffic!
When we arrived the boys did a bit of exploring and they found a trampoline and were having a great time!!
Next they found a little pool that the land lady said we could go in if we wanted. So with Grandma's watchful eye, they decided to try the water out.
They said it was a little dirty so they decide to clean it out a little bit.
They finally got in, it was a little cold they said.
Mom was checking out the pond and some of the small creatures that lived there.
Dad decided to do a little reading on the balcony with a great view!

While I was cooking dinner, the rest of the crew played a little Phase 10 with a twist. Grandma had just gone out, again.
We had gorgeous weather and a nice quiet town!
And check out the view. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
