Legoland (again)

So when the boys and I went to Lego land the last time, they said they wished their daddy was there and since we have seasons passes I thought why not, lets go again!  So on Saturday we headed to Lego land with some wonderful friends who decided to join us last minute and we were so glad!  So again our day started out really early and we set off.  Our friends bought season passes this time and had some great coupons, so we decided to splurge a little and get a gold express pass for the rides.  Let me tell you it was AWESOME!!!!  We were able to skip the 45 - 60 minute lines and go right to the front!!  It was great!!  We did a ride twice in 15 minutes that the line was over an hour long.  We did tell the boys this isn't something we are going to do every time, but it was a busy Saturday and the coupon was half off of all the express tickets!  We arrived at 10:00 am and were on the rides by about 10:30.

So we started out on the spinning ride and Ben is as excited as the kids I think!!!

Here are the boys just cracking up!!!  And this was just the beginning of the day - they were like this almost the whole day.  The only time they weren't is when we needed to get some lunch and dinner.

Michael wanted to go by himself on this ride, but I convinced him to go with AJ.  It is a great one where they go in circles and people on the outside can bomb water and make you wetter!

Tristan needed a little get out and play time and the older boys wanted to go too!!!  So off they went my little monkeys!!!

This totem pole was pretty neat - it talked to you, not sure exactly all it said since it as it was in German, but still neat that it is made up of all Lego's!

Can you see us?!?  We are in the middle of that splash!

Here we are just cracking up after we landed!  David was a little cold and decided to not go on this one.  Cool thing - we were able to do this four times in a row and not wait the 45 minute line each time!!

David joined us on the pirate ship ride!!

Ben, David, AJ and I all went on the Ninjago ride.  Michael and Asher were still a little short to go on it, so they ate lunch while we rode it twice in 15 minutes (instead of a 60 minute wait time each, can you tell I am really excited about this?!?).  So they were done with their lunch when we got back, well there is a little car drive that AJ couldn't do because he was too old and we could see the line from where we were sitting so we let them stay in line with strict rules to be good.  They were awesome!!  They stood in line for 30 minutes and just stood there and were so well behaved.  They were watching the cars to see which ones were the fastest and here they were out of the gates to get the two fastest cars!!

Michael got in the one he wanted!!!  He was passing everybody around the race track!

The two boys with their Lego land license!!

The boys climbing around the cars while we were finishing our food.

This one I am not sure why I went on again, it is the most uncomfortable ride you can imagine, but the boys LOVE it!  So on I go since David isn't much into roller coasters of any kind.  Though he did go on the one through the castle, luckily it is a short one.  And it is funny that it is exactly what the boys said when we got off that ride - it was short.  Good thing we didn't have to wait 60 minutes for one ride!!!

Here is the crew minus David and I going up to the top to see all around Lego land!

There was a fire hose Lego that water came out of it at intervals, water, water, water it was calling their names!!

So while the rest of us went on a ride David hung with Tristan and I am not sure who had the better part of the deal.  I think they both were having too much fun!!!

AJ decided to go with Mr. Ben up on this one.  You have to pull yourself up with the rope.

Amber and Asher on this side and

Michael and I to finish it up.  We all raced to the top and Amber won!!  She has some great upper body strength!!

Boys being silly in front of the pyramids

They do love their slides!!!

Some kids had dug a hole under the pyramid so Michael and AJ were having fun going under it to get to the slide!

I just really liked this picture!!!

There was an Elvis singing and riding a bike on stilts - that is some talent.  He also blew bubbles which the kids LOVED!!!

Finally we stopped at the water park - they were giggling and getting soaked!!!

AJ sitting under a cone that once filled up dumps on him!!

David and Ben just hanging out while the kids are playing in the water.  A welcome break to all the walking around and rides we had been doing!

AJ cracks me up, totally loves running through any water!

Here AJ was showing Tristan how to jump like a frog.  It was way too cute!!

All four boys intently working on something, not sure what, but they all look pretty serious!!

So the kids wanted to go with each other and me, so the big boys rode together this time.  They were a hoot and totally enjoying themselves!!!

Then on the third or fourth time, Ben went with the three kids!!  It was such a fun day and we did soooo much.  I can't tell you how many rides we went on.  I think we went on more rides in the first hour and a half then we did the whole time we were there the last time.  We didn't leave the park until almost 9 pm and still had a three hour drive home.  It was so worth it though to see the boys smiles and giggles, all six of them!!!  Making memories to last a life time!!!
