Cruise fun!!!

As you know, we went on a cruise last week.  We wanted to check off one of our bucket list and go to Russia.  We left early morning on May 24th.  We were driving up to Kiel Germany which is about 6 hours away.  We thought leaving at 7:30 am to get there by 4:30 pm (last call to check in) would be plenty of time.  That gave us a 3 hour buffer for potty breaks, lunch and possible staus (traffic jams, major ones).  Well it almost wasn't enough time.  The final boarding was 5:30 pm and we didn't arrive until 5 pm.  I had called the boat to see what the drop dead time was to be there and we made it just under the wire with a little bit of stress on all our parts I can let you know that.  But we did make it and that is all that matters.

We are on vacation!!!!!!!!!!

We found this gem, an outdoor play area for the kids!  They loved it and it was great after 9 hours in a car!

A great way to end the day with a beautiful sunset!!!  Once we were on the boat it was very relaxing and the kids had a great time checking out the boat that would be home for the next seven days!!!  It was a good start to a great vacation!!!!
