Heading home

We made it back safe and sound to Kiel.  We were hoping that we would get off the boat early enough to enjoy a little bit of the town and do some sight seeing.  but it ended up we were the last ones to get off the boat.

One of the small harbors in Kiel.

We were back at our favorite place, we ate breakfast and then the kids were keeping themselves entertained.

We decided that since it was over a six hour drive, they needed to get some energy out before we sat that long.  So back to the play area.

We saw this contraption moving along the outside of the boat with two people on it and were trying to figure out what they were doing.   They were painting the outside of the boat.

A pirate ship was sailing by us while we were in port.  After them being an hour and a half late with us getting off the boat we finally were able to leave at 1 pm.  One thing about being the last ones off is that we found our luggage really fast.  There was already a line of people waiting to get on the boat before we even got off.  We had an uneventful and much shorter ride home.  No big staus which was really nice!!  Another wonderful vacation for the books!
