Christmas Time!!!

This year both boys did gingerbread houses in school.  This meant we didn't have to do them at home, which was really good because we just didn't have the time.  :-)

AJ was a little disappointed because they glued the first part together so he couldn't eat as much of his as he would have liked.  Not that they ever seem to run short on candy.  :-)

Michael's house and I think he used a whole tub of icing along with about two big bags of candy.  :-)

What is Christmas without the a picture with Santa Claus.  The boys asked me this year how much longer they would have to take pictures with Santa.  I told them until they left my house.  :-)

On Christmas eve we always let the boys open one gift and it is always matching pajamas.  Michael even asked to make sure I had bought them pajamas.  :-)  Good thing I did.  AJ was so careful on opening it up, not wanting to rip any of the paper.  Love my boys!!!

Christmas morning, looks like Santa Claus came and the boys were good this year!!!

There are my handsome boys in their matching pajamas.  Funny story, we told the boys they could wake us up at 6 AM.  So I woke up about 7:10 (only because David woke me up) and heard the boys moving around.  So I went to their room, said Merry Christmas and they said it back and continued to play their tablets.  I went back to David and told him - he said no way and had to go check for himself.  So he went in there and asked if they wanted to go down and see their presents.  They said 9 more minutes Dad.  How many kids would say that?  We were in shock to say the least.  It is getting harder and harder to find cool pajamas because of how tall AJ is getting.  They are such good sports singing Jingle Bells.  They even thru in Frosty the Snowman!!!

The first thing they did was check to see if Santa ate his cookies and drank his milk.  They also checked to make sure the reindeer had a snack.

The boys finally decided they wanted to check out what Santa brought them.  They were in no hurry and watched the other as they opened presents.  Then the other would open one.

AJ excited about his present - they were Pokeman cards!

Michael also received some Pokeman cards - they both are really into those right now!!!

David was really excited because Santa brought  him football cards - the whole deck!!!

Once they were done opening up the gifts from Santa, they wanted to play and open up some of them.  I was totally fine with that.  We were not in a hurry at all.

Michael checking out his Pokeman cards.

The boys were really good about opening their presents together.  Neither one fought who was going to open it, they just always did it together!

Once we started on the presents under the tree, the boys stayed with their one present opened at a time.  And there was no argument, they would grab one, give it to the person and they would open it!!  So cool!!!  David needed a sign for his bar once we get our forever home.  :-)

Michael said, "I have an idea!"  While holding a light bulb above his head!!!

David LOVES Seahawk stuff!!!!  You can't go wrong with that!!!

AJ was over the moon with more Pokemon cards!!!!

As you can see we took another break.  They are checking out their gifts while more presents are under the tree!!!

The boys always have me laughing!!!  It is one thing I love about them!!!

Checking out Michael's new Skylander's trap team.

Michael and his new computer!!!  He was sooooooooo excited!!!

AJ diving for more presents!

AJ found his big present - a new camera!!

We received the Guinness Book of World Records 2015 and the boys LOVED it!!!  They spent a long time reading the different things!!!

And what is family time without game time!!!  It was a new game that we received for Christmas!!!

That afternoon we headed over to our friends house for Christmas dinner and games.  My silly boys!!!  We all had to wear our Christmas hats of course!!!  It was a really great day and so much fun to just relax and enjoy all the presents and then spend some time with friends in the afternoon!!
