Happy St Patrick's Day!!

On Sunday it was my birthday and St Patrick's Day!  We had spent the night at our friend's house in Wiesbaden.  So I wanted something green for breakfast that morning.  So we went to Dr. Seuss' idea, except we had green eggs and pancakes.

Don't they look good?!?  I was able to get Michael to eat the pancakes, but we had to make him normal colored eggs, he didn't want the green ones.  That is okay though at least he humored me with the green pancakes!!!  So that morning there was 4 inches of snow, and it all dumped that morning, so we decided to go have some fun in it!  Me who packs everything when we go anywhere, I didn't pack their snow boots or pants.  Luckily our friend had extra shoes so they could have dry ones to go home in.

David came out to play too!!  He started throwing snow balls at the boys and the boys thought it was great fun!!!

David was packing the snow for sledding and decided with all that snow it was perfect for throwing at the boys!!

So you thought Michael's face was guilty, what do you think David is thinking?!?  I can tell you I had snow on me after this picture.  :-)

 

AJ decided to try and knock his head and sled through the bars, luckily he didn't and had a BLAST sledding

 

Michael was heading for the monkey bars, trying to break the other arm or something else.  Luckily everybody stayed in one piece!

 

Michael decided it would be a good idea to follow what his brother did and sled down the stairs, not the most comfortable ride, but they had fun!

After some wonderful fun in the snow we headed out to a restaurant Brahaus Castel for lunch.  It is a WONDERFUL German restaurant!!  Everything that we ate was sooooo good!!  It was a great birthday lunch!!!  After lunch we had to head back to Kaiserslautern for a pack meeting.  Luckily the roads were clear and it was only raining.  We were able to make the pack meeting on time.  It was a great birthday and so glad I was able to spend it with such wonderful people!!!
