Tiger Rank

I am a little behind on my posts, but last Sunday AJ made Tiger rank in cub scouts!!  This is the second rank that he has made this year.  We are sooooo proud of him!!  He has worked hard to accomplish everything on the list to make the rank and had wonderful leaders to help him along the way.

 

The Tiger Cubs were on set up duty for this meeting but ended up getting everything done really quickly so they had the boys trace themselves and then decorate them.  It was a good time killer.

 

Two of the Tiger cubs were able to do the flag ceremony and AJ was picked as one of them!  Of course Michael wanted to help to, so he helped hold the flag until it was time to start.

 

They had a Weblo do it with them since it was their first time - AJ was really excited to be apart of the ceremony!

During the ceremony they read what it is like to be a Tiger cub and each stripe on his face means something.

 

Here David is pinning on his new rank, it goes upside down until the scout does a good deed.

 

The parents also get a pin of the rank the boys earned since it does take both parents and scout to accomplish it.

 

Michael was there to - I think he is ready to start scouts also!
