Last day in Texas, sad day

After Houston, we headed back to San Antonio on Wednesday to fly out on Thursday.

The kids really wanted to build a fort and have all of them sleep together.  Who were we to say no.  I snuck out late that night and took this.  Michael is below AJ at Gracie's feet, Andre is by AJ's head and Alex is in the bottom left.

Victor was able to get the day off and he was so wonderful and stayed home with all five kids so us girls could go out and have a girls morning.  We started off with some bubble tea, which I had never heard of or tried, but it was really yummy!

Next on to get a pedicure - man it felt really good and we all had pretty toes when we were done!!!

After that we met up with Victor and the kids and headed to Target.  Porchea told the kids that whoever answered the most questions about NASA during the following days would get a big prize and the rest would get a smaller one.  Gracie, Michael and Andre all decided on a Ninjago toy.

Alex had to head to another store to find the Ninjago one he wanted and AJ got a Nintendo DS.  He did have to put a bit of his own money to make up the difference, but she was so awesome and bought a few games to get him started off as well.  She is way too good to us!

Now is the time to say goodbye - group hug!!!!

All smiles still!!!  Our trip was awesome, but way too short.  I love how it feels like no time has passed when we get together with them!!  We can't wait till the next time and David being able to be there.

So we headed to the airport and made it to Seattle with no problems, except that it was after midnight Texas time and we still weren't completely adjusted to US time yet.  The boys were DONE!!

They moved our gate for our short hop to East Wenatchee and it was awful getting them awake enough to get to the new gate.  As soon as we got there this is what happened.  When they started boarding the flight, I waited as long as I could, but finally had to wake them up.  I had to laugh a little because I had to keep telling them they couldn't go back to sleep and they were basically asleep on their feet.  We finally made it on the plane and they were asleep before we even took off for our 40 minute flight.

It was another fight to get them to wake up and get off the plane and here they are waiting for our luggage.  Yep asleep again.  By now it was after 2 am Texas time.  We made it to my parent's house with no problems and guess who slept on the way there - me, just kidding the boys.  I was so glad to finally make it to Mom and Dad's house so I could sleep as well!
