Legoland

While we were in Italy, I promised the boys that I would take them to Legoland when we got back.  So on Monday July 13th we headed for our three hour drive to Legoland.  Unfortunately because of all the staus it ended up being almost four hours.

The boys are big enough now that I don't have to go on the rides with them.  They wanted to start with the water.

AJ ready to go.  He said he wanted me to try and splash him.  So the challenge was on!!!

Michael so excited that he can go on his own!!!!

The boys off and running!!!

We were in time for a 4D movie that was right across from the ride.  We only had to wait 5 minutes for the movie to start.  The boys enjoyed it!

I love their expressions!!!  Waiting for the Ninjago ride.  This was the longest wait of the day and it was only about 30 minutes.

They finally smiled for me!

Stopping for some yummy lunch!!!

Michael cranking to get out our smashed penny.

Off to climb at the park.  One really nice thing since we have been here a few times before, none of us felt we had to hurry, run to rides and try to get as many rides in as possible.  We took it easy and it was wonderful!!!!

The boys with the knight - too cool for him.  ;-)

Neither of the boys are the next king, dang!

We spent quite a bit of time in here.  The boys can make their own cars.  They had so much fun building!!

Then off to the races they go!!!  They figured out if it was a little slow or needed to be tweeked and if so off to the drawing board.

The boys concentrating very hard on fixing up their cars!!!!

This was a new ride that had a mirror maze and the boys LOVE mirror mazes.  They did pretty good.  There was also part of it where they had to go between "laser" beams and sneak away from the "cops."

Our timing continued and we were able to see another live show without waiting for it to start.  Amazing how their bodies can move and bend.

The boys getting ready to race up to the top!!  They are getting it done much faster than last time!

So nice to not be in a hurry, the boys wanted to do a little bit of climbing and playing.

They decided they wanted to do a little sliding down the "pyramid."

The boys excited over their win at one of the many games there!

I do love this music, water fountain!!!!

This is the largest block in the world.  It is made of one million lego pieces.  It was a great day!!  We all had a wonderful time and thankfully I was able to avoid staus on the way home so it only took three hours of driving.  It was a long, but fun day!!!
